Ecolab to Buy CoolIT Systems for Roughly $4.75 Billion

08:10 AM EDT, 03/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Ecolab ( ECL ) said Friday it has agreed to buy CoolIT Systems for roughly $4.75 billion in cash.

The acquisition will likely close in Q3, subject to regulatory approvals and other closing conditions, the company said.

CoolIT Systems will likely yield about $550 million in sales over the next 12 months, Ecolab ( ECL ) added.
