Ecolab's Q1 Adjusted Earnings, Net Sales Rise; Q1 EPS Guidance Issued, 2024 EPS Outlook Lifted

08:29 AM EDT, 04/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ecolab ( ECL ) reported Q1 adjusted earnings Tuesday of $1.34 per diluted share, up from $0.88 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.33.

Net sales for the quarter ended March 31 were $3.75 billion, up from $3.57 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $3.74 billion.

For Q2, the company said it expects EPS of $1.62 to $1.72. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $1.54.

For 2024, the company said it now expects adjusted EPS of $6.40 to $6.70, up from its prior guidance of between $6.10 and $6.50. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $6.40.
