08:17 AM EDT, 05/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ecopetrol ( EC ) said Wednesday it has executed an asset purchase agreement with Statkraft European Wind and Solar for the potential acquisition of its Colombia portfolio of up to 1.3 gigawatts in energy projects.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The portfolio includes six entities that own 614 megawatts in solar projects and three entities owning 750 megawatts in wind projects, the company said.
