Ecopetrol Enters Into Confidentiality Agreement With Canacol Energy

07:47 AM EDT, 09/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ecopetrol ( EC ) said Monday it entered into a confidentiality agreement with Canadian gas producer Canacol Energy in late August to "facilitate the exchange of information."

The agreement does not create any binding obligations for both parties, Ecopetrol ( EC ) said.

The company said it released the statement "in connection with certain news recently disseminated by national media outlets."
