One analyst polled by FactSet expected 3.134 trillion pesos.

Revenue for the quarter that ended Dec. 31 was 34.792 trillion pesos, down from 34.794 trillion pesos a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected 34.081 trillion pesos.

Shares of Ecopetrol ( EC ) traded 1.9% higher in after-hours activity.
