10:02 AM EDT, 10/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ecopetrol ( EC ) said Tuesday it has started a cash tender offer to purchase any and all of its outstanding 5.375% notes due 2026.

The offer is set to expire at 5 pm ET on Oct. 15, unless extended or earlier terminated, the company said.

Ecopetrol ( EC ) shares were down 3.7% in recent Tuesday trading.
