Ecovyst to Acquire Assets of Cornerstone Chemical

05:57 PM EDT, 03/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ecovyst ( ECVT ) agreed to acquire the sulfuric acid production assets of Cornerstone Chemical in Waggaman, Louisiana, for an undisclosed price to expand in the Gulf Coast.

The acquisition, funded with cash on hand, will likely close in Q2, Ecovyst ( ECVT ) said Tuesday in a statement.
