QUITO, Nov 5 (Reuters) - Ecuador will get $880 million
by renewing a contract with America Movil and Millicom through
2038, Telecommunications Minister Roberto Kury said on
Wednesday.
The payment for the use of the country's radio spectrum will
be done in two parts. A first payment of approximately $610
million will be made before the end of the year, and the rest
will be based on sales during the concession period, Kury
explained at a press conference.
