07:52 AM EDT, 08/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- EDAP TMS ( EDAP ) said Wednesday that Marc Oczachowski will step down as chairman of its board of directors, effective Sept. 30.

The company said Oczachowski resigned Tuesday to "focus on other endeavors."

EDAP did not name Oczachowski's successor.

The company's shares were up 2.8% in recent premarket activity.
