Edge Copper CEO Exercises Warrants Early, Raises C$3.9 Million

03:55 PM EDT, 03/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Edge Copper ( PLLMF ) said Monday afternoon Chief Executive Gil Clausen chose an early exercise of 6.5-million warrants at C$0.60 each, bringing in C$3.9 million for the company.

The warrants were issued in October 2025 in connection with the acquisition of the Zonia Copper Project and are set to expire on April 30, 2027, the company said, adding that the early exercise provides immediate funding and strengthens the company's balance sheet.

Proceeds will be used for exploration, advancing projects, and general corporate needs. After this transaction, Clausen owns about 20.5% of the company's shares, according to the statement.

Edge shares were last seen up $0.01 to $0.63 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
