10:24 AM EST, 11/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Edgewell Personal Care ( EPC ) shares were up more than 1% in recent trading Thursday after the company reported its fiscal Q4 earnings that beat market expectations.

The company posted fiscal Q4 adjusted earnings of $0.72 per diluted share, down from $0.73 a year earlier. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.67.

Net sales for the quarter ended Sept. 30 were $517.6 million, down from $534.1 million a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ estimated $532.7 million.

For fiscal 2025, the company said it expects adjusted EPS of $3.15 to $3.35. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $3.22.

Meanwhile, net sales for the fiscal year are projected to increase by about 1.7% to 3.7%.
