09:46 AM EDT, 05/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Edgewell Personal Care ( EPC ) reported fiscal Q2 adjusted earnings of $0.88 per diluted share, up from $0.56 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.72.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $599.4 million, up from $598.4 million a year earlier.

Analysts expected $606.5 million.

For 2024, the consumer products company raised its non-GAAP EPS projection to $2.80 to $3.00, from $2.65 to $2.85 per share previously. Organic net sales are now expected to grow at the lower end of its forecast range of 2% to 4%, the company said. Analysts polled by Capital IQ are looking for 2024 adjusted EPS of $2.78.

Edgewell declared a Q2 cash dividend of $0.15 per share, unchanged from the prior quarter and payable July 9 to shareholders of record on June 6.

Edgewell shares were nearly 4% higher in recent trading.
