EHang, China Communications Information & Technology to Collaborate on Urban Air Mobility Infrastructure

10:40 AM EST, 12/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- EHang Holdings ( EH ) said Friday it is collaborating with China Communications Information & Technology Group to advance the research and development, planning and construction of digital urban air mobility infrastructure.

The parties will combine their capabilities to incorporate technologies such as 5G, 6G, satellite communications, sensing and high-precision navigation into the low-altitude aviation sector, EHang ( EH ) said.

The company said the parties are looking to form an intelligent low-altitude platform that integrates air traffic infrastructure, aerial route, communications and navigation, airspace management, and low-altitude service networks.

Financial terms of the collaboration were not disclosed.
