06:12 AM EDT, 08/10/2026 (MT Newswires) -- EHang's ( EH ) EH216-S completed Central Asia's first pilotless human-carrying electric vertical takeoff and landing flight in Astana, Kazakhstan, during the Games of the Future 2026, the company said Monday.

The EH216-S conducted multiple flights carrying Kazakhstan's Transport Minister and other guests after the country introduced an initial eVTOL regulatory framework in June, the company said.

The flight highlights the EH216-S' ability to operate under diverse regulatory environments, following EHang's ( EH ) 2025 agreement with Kazakhstan's Allur Group to develop advanced air mobility markets in Central Asia, it added.
