07:16 AM EST, 11/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- EHang Holdings ( EH ) said Monday it has signed a partnership with Zhuhai Enpower Electric to co-develop electric motors and motor controllers for the former's electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft.

Financial terms weren't disclosed.

Under the terms, the two parties will develop electric motor drive systems that meet the specifications of EHang's ( EH ) electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft products and satisfy the airworthiness requirements of civil aviation authorities, the company added.

EHang's ( EH ) shares rose 3% in recent Monday premarket activity.
