Elanco Animal Health's Q2 Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Rise; Issues Q3 Guidance, Lowers FY Revenue Guidance

07:05 AM EDT, 08/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Elanco Animal Health ( ELAN ) reported Q2 adjusted earnings Thursday of $0.30 per diluted share, up from $0.18 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.24.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $1.18 billion compared with $1.06 billion a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.15 billion.

The company said it expects Q3 adjusted EPS of $0.09 to $0.14 and $1.02 billion to $1.05 billion in revenue. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $0.18 in adjusted EPS on revenue of $1.07 billion.

Elanco reiterated its full-year adjusted EPS forecast of $0.88 to $0.96 and lowered its revenue guidance to between $4.41 billion and $4.46 billion from the previous range of $4.46 billion to $4.52 billion. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $0.93 in adjusted EPS on revenue of $4.46 billion.
