04:23 AM EST, 11/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Elbit Systems ( ESLT ) said Wednesday it has received about $210 million of contracts from the Israel Ministry of Defense to upgrade the Merkava main battle tanks.

The contracts will be performed over a six-year period.

The company said it will conduct an extensive renewal of the electronic assemblies of the tanks, as well as upgrade and enhance multiple onboard systems.

Elbit ( ESLT ) shares were up 3.8% in recent premarket activity.
