03:50 AM EDT, 07/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Elbit Systems ( ESLT ) said Monday it won a contract worth about $260 million from Airbus Defence and Space to provide airborne self-protection systems for use in the German Air Force's A400M transport aircraft fleet.

The contract, which has a six-year performance period, calls for the supply of Elbit's ( ESLT ) J-Music directed infrared counter measures self-protection systems designed to defend against infrared-guided missile threats, the company said.
