09:32 AM EST, 03/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Element Solutions ( ESI ) said Monday it has closed the sale of its flexographic printing plate business, MacDermid Graphics Solutions, to XSYS for an enterprise value of about $325 million.

The company said an existing capital loss is expected to offset almost all taxable gains from the deal.

Element Solutions ( ESI ) said it intends to use the net proceeds to further lower leverage and for general corporate purposes.
