08:34 AM EST, 11/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Eli Lilly ( LLY ) and Novo Nordisk ( NVO ) shares were higher in Tuesday's premarket activity after the White House announced a proposal to expand Medicaid and Medicare coverage to include more anti-obesity indications for their popular weight loss and diabetes drugs.

Shares of Eli Lilly ( LLY ) were up nearly 4% and Novo Nordisk ( NVO ) more than 3% in pre-bell activity.
