03:57 PM EST, 12/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Eli Lilly ( LLY ) said Thursday it is investing $3 billion to expand its manufacturing facility in Kenosha County, Wisconsin, to boost its injectable medicine production.

The expansion will create 750 new high-skilled jobs and over 2,000 temporary construction jobs, the company said.

Construction on the expansion is expected to begin in 2025, the company added.
