Ellington Credit Shareholders Approve Conversion to Closed-End Fund

12:42 PM EST, 01/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ellington Credit ( EARN ) said Tuesday that its shareholders approved the conversion to a Delaware-registered closed-end fund.

After conversion, the entity will focus on corporate Collateralized Loan Obligation investments and will be treated as a regulated investment company, according to Ellington.

The company said it expects the conversion to become effective in the near future.
