02:08 PM EDT, 06/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Embraer ( ERJ ) said Monday it got a firm order for 20 aircraft from Mexico's state-owned Mexicana de Aviacion.

Embraer ( ERJ ) said it would deliver 10 E190-E2 and 10 E195-E2 jets starting in Q2 next year.

The airline will configure the jets in a single-class layout with 108 seats in the E190-E2s and 132 seats in the E195-E2s.

Sao Paulo-based Embraer ( ERJ ) said Mexicana will be the first operator of E2 aircraft in Mexico.
