04:38 AM EDT, 08/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Embraer ( ERJ ) said late Monday it secured a firm order from Virgin Australia for eight E190-E2 small narrowbody aircraft.

Financial details were not disclosed.

The order will be reflected in Embraer's ( ERJ ) Q3 backlog, with deliveries due to start in H2 2025, the company said.
