07:56 AM EDT, 09/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Embraer ( ERJ ) said Wednesday that it has signed an amendment to its current contract with Portugal for the acquisition of a sixth KC-390 Millennium military transport aircraft and the inclusion of 10 new purchase options for potential acquisitions by partner nations.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The agreement is part of a modernization of the Portuguese Air Force's capabilities, the company said in a regulatory filing.
