04:21 AM EDT, 10/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Embraer ( ERJ ) said Tuesday it is investing up to $70 million in a Fort Worth, Texas, service center at Perot Field Alliance Airport to support its fleet of E-jets.
The company said it expects to begin working out of an existing hangar at the airport in Q2 while building a new hangar scheduled for completion by 2027.
The new facilities will increase Embraer's ( ERJ ) capacity to service the civilian-to-freight converted E-jets by 53% in the US, the company said.
