Embraer unveils shark-faced E190-E2 commercial jet in India

Nicknamed the Profit Hunter, the show plane for Embraer's E2 family of regional jets, encompasses the E175-E2, E190-E2, and E195-E. The Brazilian aircraft manufacturer claims that the model is the quietest, cleanest and most efficient new-generation single-aisle aircraft.

The shark-snouted plane continues its world tour, along with planes that have tiger and eagle shaped designs on them. While the company claims over 70 carriers across 50 countries operate the E-Jets, Embraer is aiming for further growth, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region.

Delivered to its first customer in April 2018, the plane, according to the company, is the most fuel-efficient model in the single-aisle category. As per the company, the plane burns 10 percent less fuel than its rival models.

Cesar Pereira, vice president, Asia Pacific, Embraer Commercial Aviation, said, "We are proud to bring this aircraft to the region for the second time to show the amazing capabilities."
