08:54 AM EDT, 09/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Emcor ( EME ) said Wednesday it entered into a definitive agreement to sell its UK building services segment to international facilities services firm OCS Group UK for an enterprise value of about 190 million British pounds ($255.8 million).

The transaction is slated to be accretive to Emcor's ( EME ) operating margin profile and is expected to close by the end of the year, the company said.

The company intends to use the proceeds from the sale to expand its electrical and mechanical construction and mechanical services businesses, Emcor ( EME ) Chief Executive Tony Guzzi said.

Shares were up 2.1% in recent premarket activity.
