07:04 AM EDT, 09/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Emera ( EMA ) Thursday said its board has approved an increase in the quarterly dividend on the company's common share to $0.7325 per share.

The new dividend equates to $2.93 on an annualized basis, a 1% increase from the previous annual dividend of $2.90 per share.

"Our continued dividend growth is supported by our forecasted 7-8% rate base growth through 2029 and 5-7% average adjusted earnings per share growth target through 2027," said Scott Balfour, president and CEO of Emera ( EMA ).
