08:28 AM EDT, 09/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Emeren Group ( SOL ) said on Wednesday it had connected a 4.5 MW solar power plant to the grid at Luxshare iTech, located in Zhejiang, China.

Emeren ( SOL ) developed and financed the plant, which includes a 4 MW rooftop solar system and a 0.5 MW solar carport with integrated electric vehicle charging stations.

Luxshare, the first iPhone manufacturing partner in mainland China, is incorporating renewable energy into its operations to reduce carbon emissions and improve energy efficiency as an active participant of Apple's Supplier Clean Energy Program.
