09:08 AM EDT, 07/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Emergent Biosolutions ( EBS ) said Monday the shelf life of its opioid overdose treatment Narcan Nasal Spray has been extended to four years from three years for all newly manufactured products.

The Health Canada notification for the extension was completed in early February, Emergent said, adding that the extension makes the nasal spray the only one of its kind in Canada with the extended expiration date.
