07:53 AM EDT, 10/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Emerita Resources ( EMOTF ) reported Wednesday drill results from the El Cura deposit within its Iberian Belt West project in Spain.
Highlights include 6.5 meters grading 1.1% copper, 1.1% lead, 3.1% zinc, 73.35 grams per tonne (g/t) silver and 1.36 g/t gold.
The company said the results confirmed that sulfide mineralization at El Cura continues to the west and at depth.
"We continue to intersect high grade and copper-rich mineralization at El Cura," said Joaquin Merino, Emerita's president. "We are also learning more with each drill hole about the structural controls on mineralization."
"Thicker, higher-grade parts of El Cura provide excellent opportunity to rapidly expand the deposit," Merino added.
Emerita's share price dropped 1.5% yesterday to $0.67 on the TSXV.
