Emerita Reports "Strong" Metallurgical Results from Testing Program at La Romanera Deposit in Spain

08:26 AM EST, 12/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Emerita Resources ( EMOTF ) reported Friday "strong" results from the ongoing metallurgical testing program at the La Romanera deposit in Spain.

The company said a total gold recovery of 64.3% was estimated for the entire La Romanera deposit.

"As our testing has progressed, we have continued to improve on the gold recovery for La Romanera mineralization to realize our objective of maximizing La Romanera deposit's value," said Jorge Blanco, director of metallurgy for Emerita. "In addition, this process would also gather much of the copper and zinc that was not collected in the initial flotation process."

The company said it has started a second round of testing, with the results expected in the first quarter of 2025.

Emerita's share price gained 3.4% on Thursday to $1.20 on the TSXV.
