08:57 AM EDT, 08/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Emerita Resources ( EMOTF ) reported Wednesday the latest drill results from the El Cura deposit within its Iberian Belt West project in Spain.

A statement cited as highlights on intersections: 16.9 meters grading 1.4% copper, 2.1% zinc, 0.93 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 42.66 g/t silver; as well as 7.2 meters grading 1.0% copper, 1.9% zinc, 1.31 g/t gold and 60.10 g/t silver.

Emerita said the El Cura deposit can potentially increase resources at the Iberian Belt West project.

The company has approved an additional 10,000 meters of diamond drilling at El Cura. The program will focus on converting the previously delineated inferred resources to the indicated category to support economic studies and extend the lower and western regions of the known resource.

Emerita's share price fell 4.7% on Tuesday to $1.02 on the TSXV.
