07:39 AM EST, 02/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Emerson Electric ( EMR ) reported fiscal Q1 adjusted earnings Wednesday of $1.38 per diluted share, compared with $1.22 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.28.
Net sales for the quarter ended Dec. 31 were $4.18 billion, up from $4.12 billion a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $4.22 billion.
Emerson said it expects fiscal Q2 adjusted EPS in the range of $1.38 to $1.42. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $1.45. Net sales for the quarter are expected to decrease or increase by 0.5%. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $4.50 billion.
The company continues to expect fiscal 2025 adjusted EPS in the range of $5.85 to $6.05. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $5.93. Net sales for the current fiscal year are now projected to grow 1.5% to 3.5%, compared with 3.5% to 5.5% anticipated previously. Analysts surveyed by FactSet predict $18.17 billion.
Additionally, the company said it has maintained its quarterly dividend at $0.5275 per share, payable March 10 to shareholders of record as of Feb. 14.
