Emerson Electric's Fiscal Q4 Adjusted Earnings, Net Sales Increase

06:57 AM EST, 11/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Emerson Electric ( EMR ) reported fiscal Q4 adjusted earnings Tuesday of $1.48 per share, up from $1.29 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.47.

Net sales for the quarter ended Sept. 30 were $4.62 billion, compared with $4.09 billion a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $4.56 billion.

The company expects fiscal Q1 adjusted EPS of $1.25 to $1.30 and net sales growth of 2.5% to 3.5%. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect adjusted EPS of $1.28 on revenue of $4.25 billion.

For fiscal 2025, the company said it expects adjusted EPS of $5.85 to $6.05 and net sales growth of 3.5% to 5.5%. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect adjusted EPS of $5.89 on revenue of $18.27 billion.

The company also said it increased its quarterly dividend to $0.5275 per share, from $0.525 previously. The latest dividend is payable Dec. 10 to shareholders of record on Nov. 15.
