Empire State Realty Trust Receives NYSE Deficiency Notice Following Delayed Quarterly Report
Aug 19, 2024 7:32 AM

10:05 AM EDT, 08/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Empire State Realty Trust ( ESRT ) early Monday said it has received notice from the New York Stock Exchange warning it is at risk of having its stock delisted because the real estate investment trust did not file a Form 10-Q quarterly report for its fiscal Q2 ended June 30 by the prescribed due date.

Empire State previously said its accountants identified control deficiencies in the company's information systems and applications relevant to last year's financial statements, adding that while resolving those deficiencies may not cause any significant changes to its prior reports, it could not complete the necessary reviews by the recent deadline to file its Q2 report.

The company said it expects to file its Q2 quarterly report "as soon as practicably possible."
