Analysts polled by FactSet, on average, expected CA$0.96.

The Canadian pipeline firm's operating revenue for the quarter ended March 31 increased to CA$18.50 billion from CA$11.04 billion a year earlier. Four analysts expected CA$11.57 billion.

The company's shares were up 2% in recent premarket activity.
