07:26 AM EDT, 10/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Enbridge Inc. ( ENB ) on Tuesday closed its acquisition of Public Service Company of North Carolina , Incorporated from Dominion Energy, Inc. .

A statement noted the PSNC gas utility will be doing business in North Carolina as Enbridge Gas North Carolina and will join Enbridge's ( ENB ) Gas Distribution and Storage Business Unit. It added this marks the successful completion of the strategic acquisition of three U.S. based gas utilities first announced in September 2023.
