08:16 AM EDT, 09/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Enbridge ( ENB ) said Tuesday it reached a final investment decision on two gas transmission projects.

The company signed agreements for the Algonquin Reliable Affordable Resilient Enhancement project to expand deliveries in the Northeast and for the Eiger Express Pipeline through its Matterhorn joint venture, it said.

Enbridge ( ENB ) said it plans to invest $300 million to expand the Algonquin gas transmission pipeline, with completion expected in 2029.

Once completed, the expanded Algonquin pipeline will deliver 75 million cubic feet per day of incremental natural gas to counterparties in the Northeast under long-term contracts, the company said.
