05:53 PM EDT, 07/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Encompass Health ( EHC ) said Monday it has agreed to include its 70-bed Walton Rehabilitation Hospital in Augusta, Georgia in an existing joint venture with Piedmont to own and operate such healthcare facilities.

The companies also plan to build hospitals in Athens and Loganville, Georgia, Encompass said.

Terms of the partnership weren't provided.
