10:15 AM EDT, 07/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Encompass Health ( EHC ) said Wednesday its board increased its quarterly dividend by about 13% to $0.17 per share, payable Oct. 15 to holders of record Oct. 1.

The board also approved resetting the company's share repurchase authorization to $500 million from around $181 million as of June 30.

Encompass Health ( EHC ) shares were up 1.6% in recent trading.
