enCore Energy Expands Alta Mesa Uranium Project With 5,900-Acre Acquisition

07:37 AM EDT, 08/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- enCore Energy (EU.V), up 1.5% in pre-market trading, on Monday said it has acquired a 5,900 acre parcel of private land adjacent to its Alta Mesa wellfields and Central Processing Plant in South Texas.

The property, Tacubaya, will provide additional feed and longevity for the Alta Mesa In-Situ Recovery (ISR) Uranium Central Processing Plant. It will be part of the Alta Mesa Uranium Project joint venture between enCore Energy (70%) and Boss Energy (30%).

Initial exploration at Tacubaya will include a 200-hole drilling program beginning in two area. Two rigs will begin in October, with an additional two drill rigs being added as the program progresses.

enCore Energy is up US$0.04 to US$2.78 in New York trading.
