02:43 PM EDT, 04/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Endeavor Group Holdings ( EDR ) and affiliates of controlling shareholder Silver Lake.face a lawsuit led by minority investor Handelsbanken Fonder to block the company's buyout by the private equity firm.

Earlier this month, Silver Lake said it would acquire the rest of Endeavor for $27.50 a share in cash.

Swedish bank Handelsbanken Fonder said minority investors face a "squeeze out" at an "unfairly low" price per share and should receive the same consideration as the insider class A shareholders, according to the Delaware court filing.

Endeavor and Silverlake did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.

Shares of Endeavor were little changed in recent trading Monday.
