08:33 AM EST, 01/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Endeavour Silver ( EXK ) said production fell 13% last year as the company dealt with a mechanical failure at its Guanacevi mill that took three months to fix.
The company produced 7.6 million silver equivalent ounces in 2024 with fourth-quarter production falling 29% to 1.6 million silver equivalent ounces.
The lower production impacted sales, with fourth-quarter sales of silver ounces dropping by half. Sales of gold ounces fell 11%.
"After operating at reduced capacity due to the Guanacevi trunnion failure in August, and subsequently resuming full capacity in December, we are satisfied with our production performance in Q4 and producing at the top range of our updated production guidance," said Dan Dickson, Chief Executive Officer.
