07:26 AM EDT, 10/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Endeavour Silver ( EXK ) on Monday said overall mine construction for its Terronera Project in Jalisco state, Mexico is 77% complete.

The company said US$258 million of the project's budget has also been spent to date, with project commitments totalling US$270 million, 99% of the US$271 million capital budget.

"We're in the final construction phase with the finish line in sight," said Don Gray, Chief Operating Officer. "The Upper Platform is nearly complete, and the primary jaw crusher was commissioned, with rock crushed in August. The major focus is the Lower Platform and Tailing Storage Facility."

Gray said commissioning systems are on track to begin near the end of the fourth quarter.

Endeavour Silver ( EXK ) was last seen up US$0.16 to US$4.94 in U.S. premarket trade.
