07:49 AM EDT, 07/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy Fuels ( UUUU ) said Thursday it has started producing heavy rare earth element oxides at pilot scale at its White Mesa Mill in Utah.

The company said it expects to complete the production of its first kilogram of dysprosium oxide within the next 30 days, and produce its first terbium and samarium on October and January 2026, respectively.

Energy Fuels ( UUUU ) said it could produce the three rare earth elements on a commercial scale as early as Q4 of 2026, with minor modifications to the mill's phase 1 separation circuit.

At its Donald project in Australia, production could start by the end of 2027, Energy Fuels ( UUUU ) CEO Mark Chalmers said.

The company's Toliara project in Madagascar and Bahia project in Brazil are targeted to become operational in 2028 and 2029, respectively, according to Chalmers.
