01:01 PM EDT, 06/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy Fuels ( UUUU ) shares were up nearly 16% in recent trading on Tuesday after the company said it produced nearly 260,000 pounds of uranium oxide from its Pinyon Plain mine in Arizona during May.

The company said the mine extracted 6,043 tons of uranium ore at an average grade of 2.14%, marking a 71% increase in uranium oxide production compared with April. Year-to-date, Energy Fuels ( UUUU ) has mined about 12,461 tons of ore, producing 478,384 pounds of uranium oxide.

Energy Fuels ( UUUU ) also filed an updated technical report for its Bullfrog project in Utah, showing a 15% increase in indicated uranium resources, and said permitting is progressing on its Roca Honda project in New Mexico and EZ Complex in Arizona.
