12:38 PM EST, 11/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Energy Fuels ( UUUU ) shares were up 6.8% Friday after the mining company said that Madagascar's Council of Ministers lifted a suspension that was imposed on the company's fully owned Toliara minerals project.

Madagascar's government imposed the halt in November 2019 due to negotiations over fiscal and other terms.

The company said it acquired the Toliara project in October 2024.
