08:54 AM EDT, 06/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy Transfer ( ET ) said Wednesday that its unit, Energy Transfer LNG Export, has signed an additional 20-year sale and purchase agreement with Chevron ( CVX ) for 1 million tonnes per annum of LNG from the proposed Lake Charles LNG export facility.
Energy Transfer ( ET ) said the agreement increased Chevron's ( CVX ) total contracted volume from Energy Transfer LNG to 3 million tonnes per annum, following a two-million tonne deal signed in December.
Energy Transfer ( ET ) said the LNG would be delivered on a free-on-board basis, with pricing based on a fixed liquefaction fee and a Henry Hub-indexed gas component.
The agreement is still subject to a final investment decision and other conditions, Energy Transfer ( ET ) said.
